About Diaspora

This is an annual event consisting of more than 25 activities held in Dominican cities cities where Haiti has diplomatic or consular representation.

It will utilize both in-person and virtual modalities using all means of communication. The activities aim to bring together Dominicans, Dominicans of Haitian origin, Haitians residing in the country, and other diaspora communities to strengthen peaceful coexistence, dialogue, conflict resolution, cooperation, and fraternity between the Dominican and Haitian peoples
